Core Barrels

Description

• Core barrel is an equipment to collect core passed by the bit. There are many types of core barrel by the use.1). Double tube core barrel has dual tube, outer tube and inner tube and water is circulated between the tubes. It has very good core collecting rate and it is used for fragmentation layer, coal bed and weak layer as collected cores are not contacted with circulating water in the tube.2). Triple tube core barrelGeneral core barrel collects core by ascending and descending action of the rod but wire line core barrel can collects core only by pulling up the inner tube collected by wire rope. Therefore it is very convenient work for deep drilling work. It is especially effective for underground drilling work more than 50m.
  
  Feature of general double core barrel is that it is designed to be able to collect sample core and increase the collecting rate of fresh sample core from weak ground and fragmentation layer where sample core collecting is not easy without disturbance of the sample core
